It can be very difficult to make the first move seeking support and help when you are being abused but you have taken the first step now and we are here for you!

Domestic Violence can take many different forms, some very subtle and some much more visible.

You do not have to have a black eye or physical injuries to be experiencing domestic violence.

Everyone’s experience of Domestic Violence is different but all Domestic Violence is abuse and is a Crime. 

After a 12 year struggle to secure a premises and funding our refuge was officially opened by President McAleese in December 2006

OUR MISSION

Is to provide short term secure crisis accommodation, practical information and option choices, emotional support and an outreach service to all women and children experiencing Domestic Violence. 

Our work is confidential and any information disclosed to us is treated in the strictest of confidence.
